u7 House League
Where Young Raiders Learn to Play Lacrosse
The Pelham Raiders U7 (Paperweight) House League program is designed for young athletes turning 5 or 6 years old in the current season and introduces players to lacrosse in a fun, development-focused environment right here in the community. There are no tryouts for U7 House League, making it an accessible entry point for both new and returning players.
U7 House League builds fundamental skills while introducing structured gameplay, teamwork, and age-appropriate competition through a 3-on-3 game format. Contact is modified at this division, allowing players to “place and push” on the ball-carrier’s arm, while off-ball contact is penalized at all times. The season concludes with a U7 Fun Day, featuring games, skills competitions, and a BBQ, reinforcing the program’s focus on learning, development, and enjoyment of the game in a local, community-based setting with no travel required.
