The Pelham Raiders Minor Lacrosse Association: Field Lacrosse 2026! 

IMPORTANT INFORMATION*:

  • Fees can be paid through credit card on SportzSoft or via e-transfer to raiderslacrossetreasurer@hotmail.com.
  • Payment is REQUIRED prior to the start of regular season sessions, which are scheduled to begin the week of TBD, 2026.** Players will not be permitted onto the field if their registration is not paid in full or if they have not entered into a payment program with the PRMLA Treasurer.
  • Please remember DO NOT create a new SportzSoft account unless you are a brand-new family that has not ever registered through SportzSoft in the past (try the “Forgot Your Login/Password” button and if you still cannot access your account, then email raiderslacrosseregistrar@hotmail.com for help)

FIELD LACROSSE SEASON:
  • Practices are scheduled to start the week of TBD, 2026.** 
  • Based on registration numbers, this first week may be used as an evaluation week to assess each players skill level. As with any rep sport, it is possible that cuts will need to be made.
  • Team rosters will be finalized by no later than TBD, 2026.**
  • U9 to U13 will begin their regular season games on Saturday, April 11th. Games will always be scheduled on Saturdays for these age groups.
  • U15 and U17 will begin their regular season games on Sunday, April 12th. Games will always be scheduled on Sundays for these age groups.
  • U9 will play 3 games on Saturdays for 4 weeks. The U9 season will conclude with Provincials on May 9th/10th at Heart Lake Secondary School in Brampton, ON.
  • U11 to U17 will play 2 games on Saturday or Sunday for 5 weeks. The U11-U17 seasons will conclude with Provincials on May 16th/17th at Creditview/Sandalwood Park in Brampton, ON.
  • The OMFLL is responsible for scheduling games. Games will be played at various locations. For the list of field locations please visit OMFLL Field Locations.
  • Based on the regular season rankings, teams will be designated into separate divisions which they will play in for Provincials. Similar to box lacrosse, you can find your teams ranking at mylaxranking.com.

PRACTICES:

U9 - Tuesday and Thursday from 5:30 pm to 6:30 pm at Eastdale Secondary School 170 Wellington St, Welland, ON. 

U11/U13 - Monday and Wednesday between 5:30 pm and 7:30 pm at Eastdale Secondary School 170 Wellington St, Welland, ON. (Times to be confirmed).

U15-U17 - Tuesday and Thursday from 7:00 and 8:30 pm at Port Colborne High School 211 Elgin St, Port Colborne, ON. 

*ALL DATES AND TIMES are subject to change based on a variety of different factors.

Registration Includes: 

Team and player registration fees to OLA and OMFLL. Team fees to OMFLL to play the regular season games and the Provincial entry fees, insurance, and field rentals for practice times. Players will get 1 pair of shorts included in the fee. PRMLA Field Jerseys will be returned at the end of the season.

Required Equipment for All Ages: Helmet, Gloves, Shoulder Pads, Kidney Pads, Arm Pads, Jock, Lacrosse Stick, Running Shoes, Shorts, Water Bottle

U9 MODIFIED RULES

U9 TEAM FORMAT:  U9 will play by modified team and game formats. All games are seven vs. seven: six field players and one goalie. Teams must have a minimum of 7 players to ensure competitive games (6 runners and a goalie). Two attack players, two middies, two defenders and a goalie will comprise a team on the field

U9 GAME FORMAT: Teams will play no more than 3 games per day. Games consist of two 20-minute halves with a 3-minute halftime. If a team falls behind by 8 or more goals, they are awarded the ball at midfield after they have been scored on. Games will be played on half of a regulation sized soccer field.

U11 MODIFIED RULES

Stop time last 2 minutes of second half, only if score difference is 5 or less. If a team falls behind by 8 or more goals, they are awarded the ball at midfield after they have been scored on. Games will be played on half of a regulation sized soccer field.
